40 days of prayer: Day 23

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. Psalm 139:13-16

My Creator God,

Thank You for creating me. I praise You that You knew me before You even made me, and You knew the plan for my life even then. When I think about the intricacies of my body and my mind, I praise You for Your amazing creation and how You have made every cell of me to work together to function. Fearfully and wonderfully made, indeed!

I praise You and thank You for the gifts and skills You have given me. I pray that I would glorify You with these, and that others would see and glorify My Father in heaven.

Lord, I praise You for knowing me and loving me, for choosing me as one of Your own. I thank You for writing my days. Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
