40 Days of Prayer: Day 36

Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.” Revelation 11:15

Dear Lord,

How we look forward to this day! We wait with great anticipation for the the kingdom of the world to become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ. You WILL reign forever and ever, and You have promised that we will reign with you. Hallelujah! Lord, we wait for every knee to bow and proclaim Jesus as Lord (Philippians 2:10). We wait for the earth to be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea (Habukkuk 2:14). As we spend our time on this futile planet, Lord, we long for Your return and Your healing. We long to see the end of sin and the new heaven and earth that you have promised (II Peter 3:13). Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
