40 Days of Prayer: Day 34

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Isaiah 40:28-29

Dear God,

You are the Creator of the ends of the earth. Thank You for this promise that You, the Everlasting God, do not become weary or tired. Lord, that is hard to imagine! I am weary and tired, but You never are! Thank You that I can come to You and know that You hear me, that You are not "asleep at the wheel," that You rule over this Universe every minute of every hour of every day. That is such assurance!

Lord, Your understanding in inscrutable; it is mysterious and unfathomable. You are God, and there is no other!

You are the God who gives strength to the weary. Even as you never become weary, You provide strength and power to those who are lacking. I praise You that You are a God who provides for Your children - those that lack might You increase in power. Mysterious and unfathomable, beyond our human imagination, but You are God and there is no other. May You receive all the glory today.
