40 Days of Prayer: Day 23

"I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted." Job 42:2

Dear God,

What blessed assurance this verse brings! You are God, Creator of the Universe, and You can do all things. No purpose of Yours can be thwarted, and nothing You do will be in vain. I thank You that Your Word will not return to You void, and I praise You for Your magnificent power - power that raised Jesus from the dead and power that indwells Your children through the gift of Your Holy Spirit. God, I am so thankful that You, who can do all things, love and care for me. Thank You for Your boundless love, demonstrated in the provision of Jesus who paid the price for my sin.
