Dear Lord,
I want to keep my eyes fixed on You, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness before the things of this world. Help me to be a light in this world while remembering that it is not my home and that I belong with You. Lord, I ask that You would give me the grace to put everything I say and do through the filter of "is it seeking Your kingdom?". I want to be pleasing to You, and I want others to see You in me. Draw me close, Lord, and send me out to shine Your light.
