For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:3
Dear Jesus,
As I keep my eyes on You, help me to remember what You experienced so that I will not lose heart. You, a sinless man, endured hostility against Yourself, to the extent that I never have. But as Hebrews tells us, you pressed on due to the joy set before You. Keep me from weariness, Lord. In the midst of this perverse generation, make me a shining light. Remind me to bring my concerns about this sinful world to You and to consider You for my encouragement.
In Your Name,
Amen
