For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Romans 6:10
Today I come before You in thanksgiving for the death that You died, once for all. Lord Jesus, when I think about the weight of sin that was on Your shoulders as You hung on that cross, I am overwhelmed by grief, and overcome with gratitude. That You would bear all of my sins, past, present and future before I was even born, along with those of the whole world, is almost too much to comprehend. Thank You. Indeed, my heart is dissolved in thankfulness and my eyes are melted in tears.
In Your Name,
