Dear Jesus,
Thank you for coming to serve. Lord, You could have demanded to be served, as You came to earth as the King of the Universe, fully God and fully man. But You didn't. You gave the ultimate in service when You gave Your life as a ransom for me.
Lord, I pray that I would aim to have this attitude and deportment. I ask You to make me a serv-er and not just a serv-ee. Give me opportunities to serve, and show me how to demonstrate Your love to those needing service.
For Your glory I ask it,
Amen.
