I don't think this is it, however. As far as I can tell, what FR plays is an adaptation of Charlotte Elliott's 1839 hymn, Watch and Pray. I found a site that has the Haven Quartet (a four-man Christian vocal group) offering a CD named, simply, "A Cappella" with a song named Watch and Pray, but I'm not sure that is it either... will have to get my tape recorded ready :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654858040877461073.post-65919079548431509262007-10-08T19:57:00.000-05:002007-10-08T19:57:00.000-05:00There's a beautiful hymn played on Family Radio at...There's a beautiful hymn played on Family Radio at the close of a segment and they never say who the singers are or who wrote the music and arrangement.

I was looking for it and ran across your hymn.

This is lovely.

Thank you for sharing it on the computer for us to see.
MarcieMarciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09242194160228530934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654858040877461073.post-7449870221655444182007-06-04T12:29:00.000-05:002007-06-04T12:29:00.000-05:00Great message, Sara. While we can't and shouldn't attribute everything bad that happens or every sin in our lives to Satan, he is real and so is spiritual warfare.

I liked your examples, the verses and this hymn. I don't think I've ever sang this one before. I might just have to get out the old hymnal! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
